Excel Finish Company has been in the wood distressing business for over 20 years.
In 2002, we began expanding this trade with the development of our hand-hewn beams and trusses.
Our company is based just outside the DFW Metroplex, yet we service all areas of Texas as well as out of state.
How does the process work? We begin by working directly with each client to determine a beam or truss design that suits their needs.
This includes placement, dimensions, degree and style of distress, type of hardware, and a final finish.
From initial meetings to installation and beyond, our team is there to answer any questions and ensure the process runs smoothly.

They’re non-load bearing and can be installed at any phase of construction, including occupied homes.

What about cost? Given that each job is custom, cost is based on several factors such as: design, distress, complexity, and location of job.
